Coolers for the 4890

hey ppl ive just been getting my 4890 on some decent clocks but the temps are starting to get a tad high and i get game chrashes/gliteches etc etc and the stock fan is insanely noisy so ime wondering if there are any aftermarket coolers out for the 4890???

there are a few iirc ill have a quick hunt and get back

not sure how this works i think it works along side the stock cooler.

the 4870 and 4890 mounting holes on the pcb are the same iirc so something like this would work

First one i think it works with the stock cooler some how, not read up on it

The 4890 uses the same mounting holes as the 4870 so any 4870 compatable cooler will work, thus the 2nd cooler

no no lol your first post just said 'edit: wrong thread' or somethign so i was wondering what you meant.

yeah should do, not sure if you will need ramsinks or not tho, would be an idea looking into whats needed to add a new cooler to 4870's should be the same as there near identical layout across the pcb, quick google can show side by side comparison

HMMM that twin turbo one looks nice and should fit,ive looked around and there dousent seem to be any 4890 coolers,but like you said it should fit regardless and ile just use the inc ramsinks
