Thousands of Hotmail passwords have been hacked and posted online, according to reports.

ive seen a list similar made up of all kinds of emails, it was 180,000 lines each line was a email and password

there are quite alot of them if you know what to search

This is well gay... I fall in that category.

Are they saying they were only collected from Phising though or proper hacking? If it's just scammed ones, then I'll be safe.

Think I'll change my password anyway as I aint getting my account taken over again. That was an absolute nightmare.

i had some chinese man try to take over my ebay and sell loads of stuff which would of left me owin ebay £4,500 worth of sellers fees but luckily they rectified that problem! and noticed something fishy was goin on!

Gonna try and get a hold of this list tbh.

I did have an original hotmail account from when it came out and in conjunction with vista's mail programming and wanting to change my password, microsoft stiff-armed me and I lost the account.

Be nice to get it back by whatever means.

Proves to me it's an "omg you can win this prize just by filling in your details here" scam action.

Which means my address is safe

Also the BBC act like 30,000 email addresses are a big deal. Not really, when you consider Microsoft and Google are providing millions of people with email addresses.
