As a PC-X2000 owner i agree with the side mounted drive bays... first thing i did was rip them out and mount a couple of rads there

Prefer the front of the 2000

Also notice the PSU is at the bottom, first thing i did with my 2000 was shove the PSU downstairs.

Im sure this will be in the usual fantastic quality.... lets see how she mods though.

It does look nice, it is tall, but since it's not that deep it makes up for that. There is some space wasted here and there.

I wish Lian-Li would build custom cases, I have some ideas... sometimes I wonder what they are thinking and how much better products can get. Their designs are good (sometimes mediocre) but not great. What is great is the build quality. My design + their build quality = kings.

Yeah, I often wonder why they do certain things. I'd love to just tell them what to do

As far as I know, its only the expansion slots and PSU which are tool-less (drive bay tool less design can be replaced with good old screws). The tool-less design it good too, individual expansion slots and the PSU one is apparently very easy too.

As per my user-title, cue rampant cynicism...

If they made the perfect case they'd put themselves out of business once we'd all brought one. It's why Intel 920s can hit 4ghz but they've still not released one that is close to it by default. Or why GFX cards clock higher than the manufacturers do by default but they still leave them stock to enable them to release a faster one at a higher price point.

Or

Or

Or.

Really, it's in no companies interest to make the perfect product. So they constantly build in flaws so the next model will have "now with feature x" emblazoned across it.
