1. Exchange for old parts, 2. great overclocker, 3. high fsb, 4. high fsb = great gaming, my mobo + e8600 holds world record for highest fsb

Fair enough. I just would've figured that you would get an E8400/E8500 if you were happy to strike high FSB's over the use of a high CPU Multi and save a considerable amount of money.
