Referalls anyone?

Thought I'd create a topic here too despite receiving a reply about cases, cooling and sound card advice in another forum which wasn't receiving many bites. What have here for you guys is a "challenge" if you will.

Below is a condensed version of the spec for my ever changing new behemoth along with the total costs of the top 2 places I've shopped around at and, the spec of my current machine.

I need a case which is £50~150, no larger than 580mm (58cm) in height and 460~480mm (46~48cm) in depth. So far the cases I've been recommended are Coolermaster HAF 932 and CM Storm Sniper, niether of which are adequate.

Intel Nahalem i7 920 S1366 2.66 GHz

Gigabyte X58-UD5 mobo

Corsair DDR3 6GB (3x2G 1333MHz

XFX GeForce GTX 260 - Core 216 Black Edition 666/2300MHz

or

XFX HD ATi 4870 XXX 775/3800MHz

Corsair Memory 650W TX or 750 TX

Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black 7200rpm 32MB SATA2

----------------

£953.55 (Dabs)

£872.70 (Scan)

----------------

Current 5 year old comp:

Intel Pentium P4 HT 3Ghz

Asus P4P800-E Deluxe

1GB Corsair DDR 200MHz

Sapp. Tech Radeon X1650 512MB

Maxtor 200GB HDD

Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000BNA Black

Generic 550W PSU

2 DVD drives - normal and a dual layer burner

My vote goes to the Silverstone FT01 Fortress.

A very well built chassis that really looks the part.

What made the cases 'not adequate'? Was it just size or features etc?

Cos if you've got size restrictions you may as well just go grab a PC8.
