I've run out of 3 Pin Chasis Fan sockets on my Asus P5Q so i bought a 3 Pin Power cable splitter so i can hook 2 fans up from one socket
Is there any reason i should do this? Will the two fans obtain suffient power?
The socket will be powering the two upper case fans on my hiper osiris pc case
Another question ---- My P5Q comes with a Power Fan Socket along with 3 chasis fan sockets
What makes the PWR Fan socket different to Chasis fan sockets? Is it the power it supplies to the fan?????
don't worry bud ... i have 8 fans running off a fan controller that is running off a pass through 4 pin that goes to my IDE HDD...
i've had no problems so far ...
