According to Redmond, IE8 is faster, easier to use and more secure than its competitors. Bold claims?

Considering that they'd never announce it as being a bug-filled slugathon, then they are almost default claims. Wasn't the amazingly horrible IE7 supposed to be the secure responsive browser for all eternity?

Isn't IE8 in the Windows 7 Beta? If so, when I used it yesterday it was pretty cr@p tbh.

It's still something that displays and interacts with web pages - what is there to go wrong ?

Almost a 20 year old tool (the web browser).
