MSI Announces New GT627 Gaming Notebook

MSI has announced the latest addition to its Gaming Notebook Series – GT627. The new GT627 is the first in the MSI Gaming Notebook series to feature the NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GS GPU.

Yup. I've got a friend who's got 1920x1200 on his 15" I'll probably be buying a 15" 1680x1050 somewhere in the very near future.

Sounds like a good lappie, but I'm wondering about its battery life, especially on a 6cells battery.

Too small for me. A 1400 x on a 15" is pokey. (ala this laptop I've plugged into a 19" monitor)

Just ordered the lappie

I just love my friend's laptop, and especially that screen. CAD applications have so much space you just do not want to switch back to your own 1280x1024. Everything is still readable btw.

And oh, the Vista taskbar actually looks slim instead of a fat black bar
