Best keyboard atm?

Hey guys

My saitek 1 is getting dirty and the keys worn.

It was the best at the time it was out so im after the best (in a reasonable price range) at the moment.

Im looking for wireless or wired (wireless would be pretty handy mind you..)

If it was waterproof...well id love to keep it sparkly clean in the dishwasher

Media keys would be cool too

Backlighting is cool but not necessary, iv learnt it helps your eyes a lot better playing in the light lol

Or is that still vaporware.

Yes, it was reviewed (engadget I think) and they found that not only was it hopelessly expensive, it was terrible to type on. Its a cool idea but so expensive.

You could look at the Eclipse III or the G15 if you can find it on offer.

I do now know if you are after a high/low profile keyboard or a specific gaming keyboard, but I love my Logitech UltraX premium. Costs about €20 and has nice flat laptop like keys. Gaming is quite good, although that's not really my main purpose.

I got the G11 for £25

I like it and it's great to type on.

Yes its plain, Yes its boaring. But you'll still be using it in 10 years time. I only replaced my old one because I was fed up of a US layout.

I haven't got one of these, but having typed on one I can heartily recommend it. Das Keyboard.

Personally I've got one of these and can recommend them too.

But then I dislike laptop style keyboards. I prefer a little feedback from my keys.
