im watching the 20min ingame video of morrowinds obliviin.. anyone interested in insane gaming.... or rpgs(and even if you dont like rpgs) do yourself a favor and watch this

both are fully legal torrents, i suggest the avi as it is smaller... and is truly stunning.... you get the idea well enough... but you can get the dvd if you wish to see it uncompressed

i just finished watching it and i dont think there is any other non shooter game ever that ive wanted to play more than this

its a game that cant possibly go wrong...

im downloading the dvd version now... will post some screenies then... but the impressiveness is not the fully alive forest engine, where they studied everything down to how rocks grow... but its how its just perfect.. example.. no exp... you get better at what you do.. it has a realtime fighting engine that melds magic, melee, blocking which doenst sound as cool as it is. you have FULL FREEDOM which is not a new concept to morrowind players but this is a game where you can be as evil or as noble as you wish... you can rob people, break into taverns or trade centers, etc etc...the video just showcases the beautiful HD graphics with real soft shadows that fall 100% like they would in real life.... showcases things like archery... where you can shoot something and retrieve your arrows afterwards.... which is awesome... oh yea and the arrows are actually removed from teh quiver like they would in real life... in this game you will be hard pressed to find a limit to the realism.. even getting quests... you get them not by just talking to some stationary guy with something over his head... but you overhear something... then your log is updated with more info... then you can ask someone for more info till you have enough to go questing.... and... AND... none of that 10 million mile running crap.. you can just select a place on your map... like you can in guildwars... and appear there instantly

I play mad EQ2 but this new Morrow sounds like it would be so fuckin pwnage in MMO format.

the reason i have yet to post screens is because the avi doesnt do it justice and the dvd is a shitty torrent... hopefully in 10 hours when i get home it will be done

and its not an MMO... thats one thing they have not done... it will be an awesome game regardless... i think we are a ways away from a game this good being an MMO since they tragically have issues with hacking, performance, redundancy, etc etc... i imagine a game of this caliber may have issues and really high prices if it were made online... but give it a look... i hate offline games but will love... LOVE this
