Hi guys, Ive picked up these units off a mate, and im going to plumb my loop into it...should be interesting to see the outcome... Ones a maxi 210, the other a maxi 110...Both have similar specs, both draw the same heat, just one has more loops inside than the other...both fuly working and DAMN! they get cold... Pardon the cam quality, tis pics from my phone.

Should be easy enough to rig up, obviously im only going to use them when benching, but cant wait to get them going!!!

Hmmm I think you're going to need some form of insulation on the hose going to the CPU block :|

How are your pumps going to handle that additional pressure? Or do they have an own pump?

EDIT: oh wait... It looks like a piece of open water with cooling tubes through it, am I right?

Theres a few things i could do with this...

I might use the ice bath as a form of reservoir, and just have the coolant directly into it...this would mean just using my normal laing ddc pump in my loop..

OR

I could rig up all of the stainless steel tubes inside and make it into one long pipe, with my loop connecting to it...adding a lot of hose to my system which would mean one hell of a restriction..

OR..

The unit has its own pump built in, this is of a similar power to my ddc pump, this could mean rigging it all up with alot of tubes into my system, so the coolant runs around all of the SS tubes and also into the bath, giving maximum performance in cooling, but making me worry about difference in pressure behind each of the pumps as one may be pushing the other, making something finally go pop.

My only concern is with antifreeze on my blocks, my basic assumption being that it may slowly corrode my copper and plastic pipes. is this correct???

Been looking forward too this dude.

Look like the suction access is just a charge, clamp and braze rapid job sadly.

The evap is lovely, really nice and neat and tight, all 1/4'' as well. Love the clips too keep it in place!

With the ICE BATH. You can use a premix or water. I use a premix in the pub due to it being run all the time and smell as well as H&S due to serving drink. In doing so with the thermosate mod we going too do it'll make the coolant harder too freeze so lower temps!

There is a lot of cap tube there for meatering mind!!

I found that intresting. Best bit is it'll run R404a fine too go colder if needed and i have over a ton of the stuff here in the workshop!!

For them that are curios too know what bit on here do what is thus

The center top is the outlet and inlet for the cooling of the pump. The one with the frost/condensation all over them.

The otheroutlets are for the superchilling of the beer. There is over 5ft per coil so thats a lot of beer. From the celler it's... Barrle>Chiller & Carbonizers>Towards Bar>Super chillers> Pump>Your Pint @ 10c or lower

Not ever pub is like this nor is every beer superchilled.

I can't wait too play Tim.
