if this is the ddr in your sig then that is 'reasonable'.. I say that because some ddr will do 2-2-2-8...

My DDr2 will do 4-3-3-6

Normal cas 3 vauleram,not as much room for overclocking as cas 2 but if you are not looking to do much then it's fine.

i also cant boot when i set Cas Latency to 2.0 why is this happening?

Cas 2.0... That sounds wáy too tight. Tigher means faster but will also stress your memory more. Too much stress, and it refuses to work. CPU-z displayed 4/4/4/5 which is really slow for your ram, but I'd stick with 3.0 if it works.

You need to run benches (click). Sometimes more MHz and higher timings can be better, on others a lower memory speed with lower timings can be better.

Faster speed, or lower timings doesnt always mean better performance.

If your getting 2's out of cas 3 ram then that isn't bad,they musta been going for the very safe timings when they rated that ram.
