Core i7 now on sale at Scan!

I dont know if this is old news, but i just looked on Scan and noticed that you can now order the Nehalem goodness here!

Yeppers. Most retailers got stock yesterday, some on Monday. Ebuyer has some very good prices too

Yep. Dutch retailers had it on for sale for €275,- yesterday too, with 1-3 days delivery time Now it's almost sad I have to wait until the HCC! days ^^

lmao €275 vs £259.

For a new line of cpu, I dont think the prices are that crazy. Sure they cost 'alot', but I can remember Q9400 & Q6600 when they hit the scene.

Yeah, the CPU's aren't that expensive. The problem is that the motherboards are 250 (euro, the gigabyte board) at least if you want to overclock.

And all what Intel did with the i7 prices is replacing the currency sign -.- The mrsp for america was $289, british is 259 and europe €275 :/ When converted to dollars the british are quite screwed :P

So are the people in europe, btw

€295, €579 and €1049 are what I'm seeing atm and €280 - €370 for the motherboards.

Me... I'm hanging on for Westmere.
