P5N-E vista issues?

Hey guys, i built my friends fathers pc a while back there, and recently he has upgraded to vista. He let vista instll the drivers, but has since had weird graphical errors and occasionally the pc will hang and then crash. As im the one fixing it, would this be because of the drivers vista has installed, or could it actually be a hardware issue.

Hes using a intel pentium e2180 and 2 gig of OCZ pc6400 special OPS ram.

Much appriciated, ill be a bit more active this winter as well, as i have a cool project planned to build a entire pc and screen into a CRT xD

Be sure the chipset drivers have been installed. If he`s only installed drivers that Vista did automatically, there`s a chance these aren`t in there.

Awesome idea for a project with the CRT. U planned on sticking a lcd in the front and the pc at the rear ? hehe iMac !

Something like that, only fully water cooled, and im pretty sure it installed the nforce drivers, but was there not past issues with that board and vista? I think ill try reinstalling all major drivers for the pc, and see what the craic is. Also, if anyone has a messed CRT that is white, preferable 19", i would take, or pay for shipping, as my crt is black and therefore harder to paint xD

Go check the council disposal place tbh. Lots of crt there.
