Ideas for my old parts

Hey guys

Im looking to build a 2nd pc with whatever stuff Iv got left so i need to fill in the gaps with relevant hardware

Iv got

e6300

P5B deluxe

2gb OCZ specialops ram (the camo ones i won off here)

ati x1900gt phoarrr

so ill need a case

hard drive

i may replace my current cd drive with a nice sata one (need a recommendation) and use my current in new pc

power supply

ideas?

id rather get it into a working pc for now and stick xp on it for a 2nd gaming rig

any recommendations on parts?

i wouldnt say they were old parts.. I woulda had them off you not so long ago :P

i think id get more for them if i sell as a complete system

most people around here are noobs after a system than parts

plus id lose more money on parts

Recommendation for a SATA DVD Burner, I got this ASUS one, seems pretty quiet most of the time, I think mine was the retail bundle, comes with Nero 8 which is OK. The only thing is with some DVDs it seems to take a few seconds longer to read them for autoplay to pop up, but nothing too annoying.

Case depends on what sort of budget you're looking at. Antec 300 is really nice, If that had been around when I got my 900 I probably would have got it instead, it's got loads of features they learned from their mistakes on the 900 with dust filters, better cable management etc. If you want cheaper than buying new then check out ebay you can sometimes pick up a real bargain and it's much less risky buying a case than hardware.
