Got me new XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog no prob installing it but memory seems wrong from spec see pic. Whats wrong?

I take it you're talking about the clock? There's no problem, it's just that GPU-Z reads 900MHz, but it's 1800MHz effective

Is it a GPU-Z thing or it there other software which can be used.

Pretty sure most programs read the clock like that and not the effective speed. It's much like how with normal RAM, say you have DDR2-800, CPU-Z will read it as 400MHz
