meh isnt the Asus Striker 2 Mobo, a little unstable, thought people were advising that despite their previous products/reputation Asus' Striker 2 ultra Sli had some problems..

I went for the evga Ultra Sli equivalent based on that and people's recommendation about eVGA's customers support.

I may be wrong but I thought I'd just mention what I'd heard.

Hmms, well I think the equivalent mobos from the other brands are as expensive, this one is about £30 more though.. EVGA ATX 790i Ultra SLi Mainboard is the one I went for,

but if u want to go Sli, I guess u have to pay for an equivalent Mobo.

Agreed tis expensive compared to all the others, but once u made the controversial decision to pay for the Gtx280's and DDR3 ram then the choice of Mobos are limited to this 790i board or the equivalent brands or the Blackops, can anyone think of any others?

the other thing is that when the drivers come out to support 3 sli with gtx 280s this board can use 3 sli, although not as fast I think as it has only 2 x16 pciE slots...

any thoughts?

Regards

Ollie
