HMMMM.....!!!

Cant wait for this game to come out, mind you, the only thing I think im really going to like is the whole physics of the game, the gameplay will most prob end up stupid with some alien species taking over EVERYTHING.

Is this the new one with the whole wind and flames and rain and destructible landscape??

Or am i confused?!?!?!?! :wavey:

This is Farcry2, the sequel to the first Farcry. Not Crysis. If they are talking about an African warlord i dont think it will have to do with Aliens.

Why does it seem to me that the recommended seems more likely to be the minimum? I doubt the engine is so highly optimized it will run smooth on a 6800. Either that or the game will look not so great on high.

note the 280 series isn't under the supported list.. these don't deem realistic.. but cool if they are

NVidia 6800, NVidia 7000 series, 8000 series, 9000 series, 200 series. 8800M and 8700M supported for laptops.

The 280's come under the 200 series. hopefully these requirements will hold true when it's released. Crysis was a great benchmarker but the high reqs were OTT!

You're telling me, I can only get about 30 FPS on x8Q very high (32 bit mode) with 2 280GTXs. I enjoyed Crysis tho, it was the first time in a year that I could play the latest games. It reckoned it could be run on my old system (4000+ and a 7800GTX) but the detail wouldn't have been there.

I dont think we should compare this to Crysis considering it isnt being put out by Crytek and wont be using the Cryengine. I highly doubt it will be as falsely demanding as Crysis.
