As I've stated before, of course 360 sales are going down. And we all know the japanese don't like FPS which is all the 360 really has to offer.

Having run a games shop for 18 months I have all three (and most of the classics) and I would still never recommend the PS3 except for die hard fanboys. It just doesn't offer enough as a console yet. As a Blu-Ray player it is still the cheapest one i can find and so is worth it for that but not as a console.

As for the 360 and its ring of death. The ones i've helped send back have been in bad environments (ones not as described by microsoft in the hardware manual given with every console) and that is the only reason why they have failed. Overheating only happens because of this not bad manufacturing (bad design certainly but it is enough for those that listen). My 360 was the first in the shop (first batch in the country aside from press edition ones) and it is going strong to this day sat on my sdie next to my hifi.

Japan has always just bought whatever Sony makes (anyone ever played a Japanese only game will know this). So its understandable that they will overtake other consoles. The fact HD-DVD is dead just means Sony's market position is even stronger comparative to the other companies and this was never going to change. It is hardly an unforeseen outcome for anyone.

Every single one of my friends dead 360s have been out in the open usualy in a room with a ceiling fan and in a cool environment. M$ have given the extended 3 red light warranty because of their design flaw and overheating.

Any news on Nintendo`s next incarnation ?

U just know it`s going to be good. Kudos to them for releasing a Gamecube with nunchuks and online stuff, and getting massive sales.

PS3 looks excellent imo, but all the existing consoles don`t quite warrant me wanting to get one tbh. PS3 maybe the closest. Might`ve got a Wii if they weren`t short of stock at the time - by the time stock caught up, I lost interest.

like it is compatable with vista for networking

hell, i'm streaming music, right now lol
