Do you mean like the 7" screens like in cars that people mod/bodge (dependent on skill) or the 5.25" bay ones?

I'm looking at a 7" lilliput to put in the roof of my TJ07 to act as a touchpad scripter for gaming. I did however see some other funky ones during research. GX Typhoon seem to be brilliant but control is done via LCD Studio. LCD Studio is quick friendly and easy to get running, people like !TIMMY! have done files to get information of the screen for you making your job easier. The GX Typhoon range are quite high resolution for that sort of display but unfortunately it is still limited by the control LCD Studio can offer. LCD Studio is quick and simple, not a beautifying application it become limited by its simplicity. I will be writing my own program to script the touchscreen and get the desired effect and the simply isn't offered by LCD Studio currently. Eventually it will no doubt be added but the i cant use it as a touchscreen.

Jim did some nice lcd trickery on his Ferrari case.

It`d be nice to be able to get a screen that would eject from a 5.25 bay. Know full well it`d be stupidly priced tho.

Thermaltake do one of those. I've not actually looked into the price tho - but being as its TT, i should be fairly reasonable I'd expect.

Um sorry to say this but a 7" widescreen TFT will not fit in a 5.25" bay. Check the link posted and it actually says its for a 7" bay which is DIN size (car stereo size). I have been after a flipout screen like that for my computer for years and they are about occasionally but always cost WAY too much (£500+) and given my whole car screen system which plays everything and connects to everything was only £400 i won't shell out.

Don't forget if you want to have a touchscreen one (£20 more if shopping on eBay) then you'll need VMware to keep touchscreen movement separate to mouse movement.

eBay have some good ones at the moment, I'm just trying to decide which side buttons I should get given the orientation of the screen. Hopefully it will easily fit in the case and I can use TouchBuddy to do the in game controls.
