corsair ram + dfi = problems

ive been hearing that amd dfi motherboards + corsair ram is not good, keep in mind im talking about amd based motherboards here rather than the intel based. is this true

yes its true, DFI is good with GEIL, OCZ and some others but not Corsiar.. ASUS is only good with Corsiar

speaking of ram... 256'th post :rollingla

Yeah.

DFI and Corsair, Kingston don't work well. Kingston has about a 50% failure rate, so....

Good stuffs for that board are...

Any BH-5 (besides corsair, kingston), CH-5 (besides corsair, kingston), Any Samsung Chip like TCCC, TCC5, TCCD, etc (besides corsair, kingston) etc.

So look into some Mushkin {any} (Redlines), G.Skill's, GeIL's, PDP has an okay success rate, they're good memories, PQI isn't too bad, if you get their higher-end stuff. OCZ is good ram too, but I think you're paying for the brand & the tacky heatspreader tbh.

OCZ is great RAM and is actually pretty damn good value. The OCZ Gold is only around $90-$100 for a 1gb kit!!

Yeah OCZ is good value, I am not a fan after 4 DOA's but its cheap :rollingla

If your talking about amd 64's, its much more dependant on the cpu than the board...seeing as the memory controller is integrated into the CPU.
