Fed up of that long email address?

Hi Guys,

As some of you may know in the time before Overclock3D I used to run a free email service. At the time it was quite popular with over 60,000 users.

Well today I came across a couple of pretty memorable domain names, and thought it would be pretty cool to re-launch the free email service for OC3D members.

For anyone that's interested, in the next couple of weeks you'll have the oportunity to have a free email address at:

you@mhz.ms

or

you@fps.ms

or

you@mmo.ms

..the shortest possible domain names available on the net

Thats what i like to hear. Chances are the mailbox size will be unrestricted (but subject to fair use), there will be access via POP/IMAP/Web and you'll be able to pick whatever username you want providing it is at least 2 characters long (e.g jn@mhz.ms).

That`s just ideal tbh.

I`m not particularly concerned about the mailbox size, but I do want a tiny email thingy especially for non keyboard devices `n` stuff. OC3D with a very easy phone emailing addy - priceless.

Are there any circumstances where these may prove too small for anything ? To explain, in the past if u wanted to do something, and the poxy process involved an email address (so they can spam u), I`d enter a@b.com - after a while I think they started coming back with an unacceptance.

Nah shouldnt be a problem at all. My old email service had an exactly same length domain name (3+2) and nobody had any problems. I think the b@b.com is probably picked up so easily because the minimum length domain you can register (in the past 5 years at least) is 3 chars.

It's cool but everyone uses my work/hotmail acc so I don't know if it will get any action!

If I did I'd be interested in my initials@fps.ms

Definitely interested. Can't get enough free email addresses, and a tiny one would be brilliant.
