Yeah was going to play some Guitar Hero then.. didn't turn on just straight to RoD.

Was looking on youtube on how to fix it but that can make it worse if wrong. And worse of all, warrenty has run out so its gonna cost £60 But I think I get a £3 discount (YES! £3) for being a Live member (which costs £40 a year)
It's probably the crappy plastic they use to keep it in.

Have you tried it a few times? Ages ago someone posted how to fix it.
You need to melt the chip back into place, something like that.

from what I have read its down to the fact the thing just gets too hot and warps the board,also the fan is not running at full speed

Wrap it in Towels for 20mins.
It never fails!
As for the warranty, when did you buy it because they have a 3 year warranty for the RROD.
