Will it fit, that is the question??

Hi all,

This is the first time I am posting anything on this fantastic forum so here goes....

I am thinking of buying either the coolermaster cosmos S case or the lian li armoursuit PC-P60 but I have a slight worry!

I have got the Thermalright 120 extreme cpu cooler attached to my Asus M2N32 deluxe mortherboard and as most of you might know it is a "HUGE" heatsink. I have no cpu at the moment as I am still buying parts etc. Am even thinking of trying the AMD Phenom but thats just in the pipeline.

Just wondered if I have enough space to fit that in the either of these cases???

I really hope so.

Also any personal recommendations of which case looks, feels, even tastes (hehe) the best out of the two?

Cheers

Yep should fit.. Both cases are classed as 'big' and the coolers are designed to fit in any standard ATX size case.

Lian li are famous for build quality. If u like the external and the innards are a good layout and good fan fittings...u cant go wrong. Aim for as much aluminium over steel as possible for lightness.

Plastic is yuck so avoid it as much as poss (cough thermaltack)

Out of curiosity where did you get the Thermalright 120 from? I looked recently and couldn't find it anywhere.

Sorry for not replying sooner Nick R got sent away on business... umm I got the 120 extreme from Amazon for £50 all in also got a Skythe S-FLEX 120mm fan for £18 strapped on the side of it.

I decided to go for the cosmos S and picked it up 2 days ago. What a sexy case!!!!

Have a look at my other thread on "project logs" at what I am building if interested. Feel free to comment as I am still not sure on some of the components.

Cheers

Anyone thinking of getting the 120 don't!

It doesn't fit in my cosmos a case which is classed as 'big', or so I was informed. Now I have removed the 200mm side fan just to close the side panel.
