Two new Core 2 Duo's to be released on 20th April
Along with the earlier reported price cuts, Intel are releasing two new dual core CPU's on the 20th April.

No set dates on that one... I've read its Q3 in some places and Q2 1 place... With such little noise about it perhaps it will be Q3.

Id just stick with getting an e8400. Theres a better chance of it being stock.

think i may purchase one of those E7200's as a upgrade from my aging E6300, it seems old now lol

tbh seeing E8200 with multi of 8, will only come down by two dollors making it $167, picking up E8300 for $169 with 8.5 multi is a wise choice. although for spend another $16 will get you a cpu with multi of 9 - E8400.

Can make OC'ing easier, especially if your board can't handle very high FSB. Also gives more options for dealing with RAM dividers and such
