if you got for a x38 or P35 board, these are ALOT better for stable overclocking. try the abit IP35 pro others will be able to advise you on different ones

ahh the p35 chipsets are good dont worry about firstpacket..

Ermm, have a look at the Abit ip35 pro.. i personally have the gigabyte GA-P35 DS4 good board imo.

I think the asus boards are pretty good, though i couldnt recall the model names

erm, well whats your budget?

What speed internet connection are you running? i get perfect pings with my DS4... though i think all on board network adapters are similar.. only slight gains or losses between each.. you wont see much difference

well for starters telling u where i live will answer most of ur questions

i had to move to jordan (middle-east) and internet here sux (download limitation - limited speeds <up to 2mb> ) and the internet prices are way to high man !!

like the mb is for 536 US dollars !! so im running on a 512 connection

as for my budget , well my dad is buying but still i gotta keep it to the somewhere in the average ! comes back to him in the end . lol !

my new computer specs are going to be the following ! :

motherboard : 680i or 780i

graphic card : 8800 gts or smth else (waiting for the next shipment)

rams : 4gb ddr2 (800mhz or might get the 100mhz )

case : Gigabyte 3D Aurora

power supply : 700w

cpu : core 2 duo

if i forgot something plz remind me

and just an F.Y.I , not everything is available here ! damn i miss best buy

so anyways for mobo's those are my only options

so my friend ....

I would get a non Nvidia board

780i - sucks

680i - sucks more

OK so I'm going OTT as some boards are great value, but unless you are 100% going SLI then get an Intel board

Why? Why do you need to know which is best between them? Obviously 780i is a better platform, but if you're not using SLI then I would strongly advise against getting either

If you wish to ignore good sensible advice then that is up to you.
