Any interest in modding comps..
I havent been around for a while cause it seemed to me interest in modded computers had diminished.
(thats all I know how to do, lol)

I think mods are freaking awesome, especially the great mods you do mark. When i get the cash flow i'll surely be taking a bit of knowledge from you to do some mods of my own.

I took it easy this time with the pretty much maxed out stacker but next time for my bday I'm definitely getting a bigger plainer case for modding.
Mods are cool.

I have been wandering the internet and become very disillusioned with the modding contests.
It seems like its either the person with the most friends/internet accts wins or if there are judges they have a very limited knowledge of modding in general.
These people dont seem to realize they are lowering the interest/standards in modding.
I really want to elevate modding to improve the basic design of the comp, spinning machine gun barrels or faces that pop out the side of a comp are fine but they do nothing to improve the computer.
Do you think I am just whining or that I have a point?
(be honest as you are too far away for me to get mad at,lol)

I like a mod to be sleek, well executed and well designed. Orac3...now that's a mod

Seems like a pretty strong response so far, does overclocking, changing fans and cooling count as modding?

It's modding hardware, although I think mark means more cutting the case up and stuff

Any modification to stock counts really mate.. but you get different levels from mere tinkering around to hacking things about and total fabrication.

I am not a fan of actually cutting holes but as mentioned above I have done my fair share of other modding over the years. Cutting holes just scares the s**t out of me especially when you pay £100 for a decent case nowadays.
