Ok, then. After having it sat in the spare room for a while after having various problems with it, I am going to sit down with my computer and try to mend the thing.

No doubt, I will have some problems with this as I have given up before - so your support throughout this evening would be appreciated.

well, this is taking longer than I expected !

To start with, the PC wouldn't even boot up - so after trial and error, I worked out that the Modem was to blame for the mishap.

Im now sitting here waiting for XP to install - yawn ...
