My new rig

UPDATE

arrived today

My new 8600GT











no idea why it says Nvidia 6100SM-M on the motherboard but ive installed my 8600GT

and my 20" LCD which it will be linked to

Specs:

.XP

.Geforce 6100SM-M Motherboard

.AMD ATHLON 64 X2 4000+ DUAL CORE

.3GB DDR2 RAM

.Nvidia Geforce 8600GT

.160GB SATA2 Hard Drive

.Samsung DVD/RW

to be honest i thought i got it quite cheap at £250 thats just for the box .. not for a moniter keyboard and mouse and it has no OS installed (i have the XP cd where i can install it from

not sure what it is .. i left basicly everything as it was apart from the graphics card .. il look when it arrives and post it up

do you rekon it will be able to play

at medium or higher settings ?

im going to say no for medium/higher for cod4, but i wouldnt quote me on that.

well im used to playing low/medium settings on my games anyway with my Radeon 9200 :sleep: so its not too much of a problem .. as long as they will run and not lag

i would say it will run cod4 on med/high ok,as my 76oogt ran everything on high sweet enough(although it was clocked up)

My dad can run Crysis DX10 medium with his 8600gt stock speeds
