My XFX 8800GT XXX

Hi

got this card on friday. Done a little oc'ing on it but i think the voltage mod is needed to push it.

Anyway here are a few screens from my mornings events

Stock:

and then a little more again:



This was all done on a P5WDH, E6600 @ 3.2 , Corsair 6400 RAM

None too shabby mate, I rekon you might be able to get a lil more out of the E6600

yeah dont think the ram is best suited for this board. gona try a few other sets out tomorrow hopefully. Would of used my P5k but thats getting ready to go back in my wc setup.

Very nice scores. a relative of mine is in the market for a new mid-range card...but with scores like that it aint a million miles away from the performance of a 8800GTX. I've had a read around re. this card and it's all good so far...good choice!!

havent looked into it yet but i have heard you can change the voltage in the bios

You simply change one voltage in the bios from 1.05 to 1.1 and people are getting core increases by 50mhz + just from that over their previous max overclock, same with shaders.

But I would of thought with those clocks it would get a bit hot for the stock cooler.. idk though.

yeah you can only go to 1.1v though. And I'm a bit reluctant to hardmod...this is the only reason I am considering a 3870

temps wernt much of a problem with fan @100% never went over 50c
