The only way to really see how much they are is to wait. I've seen articles saying $999 for the top end processor

that would be $999 for quantity's of 1000, resellers usably mark it up 10-20%

1100-1200 is my guess

No usually - the Q6600 is marked as $266 (133 pounds), with VAT thats 156 pounds.

Scan then mark it up 10%...
