so who watched it?

While we all know it goes on I was still utterly shocked and as much as I'm in favour of the internet not being 'policed' this did make me wonder.

And what was that woman from Google on about, it's up to the Police to find the crimes and follow them up, surely if they hold information about serious assaults and crimes, they're with holding evidence???? It's made me look at Google in a different way tbh

It was appalling to see such disgusting behaviour and dreadful lack of care and repsonsibility by internet video hosts.

my view on weighing up freedom of information against someone posting even one obscene video of violence, would be that the operating model of sites like youtube should change, with every submission being vetted before being made available, with full liability put on the host.

And yes I know that would be practically unworkable, but so what, I'd prefer to lose youtube etc. rather than have anyone harmed because they were inspired/influenced by internet violence video.

I agree with you there Mr Gregg!

Youtube must make a ton of money through advertising to cover the cost of having a few employees to vet the videos. I'd have thought Youtube would take the responsibility for the content they show!

Lots of things can happen when u give u`r kid a pc in their room and not supervize them. Similarly let them use a pc in a school/premesis without controls.

Type "cheats" in a search engine and see what u get back, won`t all be game related.

God forbid they chat alot online and go out meeting people.

Get a grip parents, lets stop point fingers perhaps. Happens most times we (society) cba doing things ourselves, look to authority to step in. Saw a brief news spot this morning about a 3 year old child killed on a road in wales (I think) and the whole village are up in arms about speed limits. What is the 3 year old doing in the road ? Personally I`d charge the parents with manslaughter and sterilize them.

No censorship please, take more responsibility.
