Which 8800GTS to get?
I heard the 8800GTS XXX from XFX is fast due to its overclocked stream processes.. Well its either that or a HD2900XT

Yeah, I'd go for the XXX XFX or the AC3 KO eVGA.

1400x900.. Not high but im just thinking about getting a new monitor in the near future.. I know the 320mb would be ok.. But i would rather get the 640 or a HD2900XT with more memory. Bit of a bugger to pick a card atm coz no-one knows how they play in dx10..

How do you propose he gets around the extra £30-50 VAT?
If your playing at that rez the 320mb will be fine. If your buying now get one of those and overclock the core yourself.
Afaik atm the only Dx10 game about is lost planet. I assume your running vista if your worrying about Dx10?

Well i can wait aslong as is needed just have the money, would rather get it soon incase anything else takes my fancy lol. haha.. I will have an extra £50-£100 for my current card.. Then i can muster up some more. And in august i will getting around £200.. Im tempted to just go for the 2900. I would get the 320 its just seems a tad pointless when for £50 more i can get a 640MB..

Yea man, it's worth it to save up for the XFX xXx 640 GTS. I have one and it's a beast :O It's a tad expensive (paid $400 when I could get a different 640MB for ~$320) but the OC'd streamlines are worth it IMO. Also, it'll prove beneficial having that extra 320MBs especially if you upgrade to resolutions of 1680x1050+
