Dark Red Lights
Well on my new build I wanna put some nice dark red lights in it. Can anyone point me to a good set of dark red CCds or LEDs/Meteor Lights?
Thanks

Thinking about it, if youre using water cooling, why dont you go for the tubing XMS used on his F40 project. Get to have the lightsabre red without looking like....umm... [/political correctness] you like musical theater [/pc]

.. and there`s me with an Abit board that`s got freaking red LEDs all around the base of it. Coulda sworn there was once a bios setting to turn them off, but meh. Think it may`ve been an old bios version.
Could tape em I guess, no big deal.

The small LEDs that actually look like diodes are usually pretty red. The one on my current motherboard is very very red, they just dont pack much punch. LEDs are a better bet than CCFL tubes as they are 9 times out of 10 just white light strips in a dark red casing = pink
What about drilling holes behind the motherboard (in the tray close to the edges of the motherboard) and mounting some high intensity red LEDs in it. You could run 4 3.3v LEDs off 1 x 12v molex if they were in series (easier to wire)

Sunbeam red CCFL's are the dopeness. Dark deep blood red in color, they looked outstanding on my phase rig.
