when i try that on vista, dispite having quicktime installed it wont let me view them

quicktime always screwed up for me in vista 
even a little in xp if i'm honest so i tend to just use my MBP to watch the ads now

I`m not sure if this is promotable on here (delete if it`s necessary) - but try that quicktime-alternative codec, and see if that works.
If it does I`d lmao.
hehe the conspirists would have a field-day with this.

Aye quicktime alternative is an open-source and pretty light alternative to quicktime
