Files to and fro

Basically I wanna put my music files from my old pc onto this one. I think ethernet will work but I need to do it without swapping the screen too many times for convenience reasons do i have to do file transfer wizard?

Just the network wizard and enable file sharing

hmm i did that yet i cannot find the new pc on the network...i can find the old one though - on the old one

Just pull the hard disk from the old one and mount it as a slave on the new one.

Umm probably not but it would be the quickest

So what would be the quickest way and how do I do it? I tried doing the network but I could only find the computer that I was on at the time on the network

The quickest way has already been said.

Take the harddrive from the old PC and connect it to the new one as slave...

I would of thought this to be the easiest. Seeing as there is no screen swapping involved.
