A resident evil theme would be pretty cool, Umbrella workstation? Could even use that t-virus res as part of it!. Could be a virus cooled PC

On a second thought I don't think I've ever seen a Wolfenstein themes PC. Always loved the logo on that. Possibly an all AMD system to fit in with the red of the logo.

Or if you wanted to go all out craziness Steampunk is a good way forward. Endless things you can do with that. Actually copper pipe watercool? Have a Pressure gauge as a temp guage? With time and madness the following can be achieved..

http://www.slashgear.com/8ft-steampu...e-mod-1935096/

Maybe a bit to messy for my liking but a less clutted version or more planned out would be a nice thing to see.

Hope these ideas are of some value.

Edit wrote my post before seeing this link. That case is very nice. Allot cleaner and pretty smart.

probably an itx build, low, wide and quite deep,
which would be the loading bay of say.... Thunderbird 2!
im off optical drives, so i would affix a vesa type mount to the underneath to mount it to the wall.

Whole case gets a weathered green finish and any control knobs on it looking like bolts.

Carbon fiber seems to be all the rage these days. Titanium takes on some interesting hues when heated or when treated to certain electrolytic chemical baths. A case built out of sheet stock or hand-laid carbon fiber would turn heads, and then use treated titanium hardware to assemble it.

Wallmounted

Okay I know you are Mr WaterCooling, but bare with me.

I like it clean and simple.

You should get a frame the size of the monitor for the computer. Get a custom mobo-mount to put in the frame.
Sleeve every wire and hide them the best you can.

Probably going to need some wiring routes behind the mobo-mount.

Everything is passive cooled. No moving parts.

One wire goes to the screen.

Single wire goes to frame/computer, Sleeve everything also.

Makes sense? :-)
