I'm building a pc pretty soon, so i'm wondering if I can remove my northebridge heatsink.

The motherboard is P5Q Deluxe by Asus

You can remove it but you need to replace it with some thing equal or better at dissipating the heat.

R you after some thing lower profile to help fit a better HFC.

use MX 2 or 3 when it comes out then it doesn't void you warranty
