Well, she showed up today, looks like shes been in a war zone and come out with some serious internal hemiraging.

Anyways, i shall let the pictures speak for themselves....

Box looks not to be damaged, but look, theres a wet patch.

Nice amount of oil coming out from there....Makes me upset seeing it like this, it wasnt this bad when it left.



Theres oil running all along the side of base, nice...





Ok, what happened here? Its melted.You see a little grey spot under then unit on the base? that looks like solder to me....and that is all melted. how the.....

this unit has give you hell since you first sent it off to pete! I am not sure if your insurance with dhl counts unless you use they're packagin! but the big question is was it damaged before it got put in the box

Ive nearly cried today about this. Meh.

I have no money, i wanted the money for this for oproject Doh-n8. I will see about a cover with DHL as the box has aboviously been lying on its side for some time, and it shouldnt have been. I will wait to see what Ham says...

Gas leak is ont thing, but an oil leak? Just fail...

Clean as much of that off as you can mate, use a solvent if needed. It's hydroscopic (sp?) and will turn acidic (which it may have already looking at the leccys cover...) if left exposed to air.

Sucks about the condition it turned up in, the burn/melting couldnt have been done by dhl (unless its a chemical burny thing from a leak?), yet the leak could have been from the post, ive posted a case by DHL and it arrived with the window in like 5 peices =\

Thanks man, i really dont know whats happened to the unit. Will have to first of all see about claiming through DHL, i think that makes the most sense.
