It's mad. Just looking at those last pictures there has got the imagination going of what exactly the unit could be used for in it's entirety.

If u had that basic concept, with TV a person could buy of their own choosing, a mount somewhere for a basic 2.1 sound (atleast), an iPod/whatever dock, controllers variable with PS3/XBox/Wii etc (even old school consoles), a simple dvd/bluray mount - frankly the list goes on.

Jeez, build em to order !

1 x water cooled pc

1 x xbox 360

1 x xbox

1 x Dream cast

1 x ps 3

1 x wii

1 x Sega Megadrive (why the hell not lol)

software emulated wise

Mame

Dolphin

All arcade software versions

all console version's

all PC emulated versions

all hand held versions

1 x psp (hardware)

1 x nitendo DS (hardware) (please do not ask how i implement this as it worth money and like in my first one i built no one got to find out as company's tired to rip me off and get my interfaces off me .. ill not fall for it this time though)..

Has full blue tooth support (built into the cp)

Has duel wireless support (built into the cp)

360 Controller via PC support (built into the cp)

2 x USB in frot for extra game pads (for 4 player games and PS 1 and 2 and Nintendo 64 and all that) ,extra guitars, extra guns ect ect

erm and a few other bits and bobs . hence its name c-macc's - Complete Multi Arcade Computer Console System ....

Full juke box mode and full karaoke mode to (just to have some fun with the kids), Allso i have full media centrer loaded with a few films and there is a blue ray for it to..

What i really really do need is a hardware sponsor and water cooling sponsor but no one will entertain me at all ... think its because my name isn't well know or they probably thought i wouldn't be able to pull it off.



You can see the shelf will hold a full pc with out any problems. This is fully retractable so it has easy access to the pc no messing around ...







It will take a full size keybord and still enough room for the mouse as well.

Think what I'm meaning is that u could market it.

On the detail side of things, what emulators are u using for mame etc ? Haven't used mame in years, always used to find one would have the better look - using the cabinet graphics etc - and another would save the scores properly - and another would be more compatible with roms. But it has been a long time and I'd be interested in what u feel is best today. (and the other emulators of choice)

To be hoist there are that many hacked variations of hacked mame its ridicules.

I personly use two version though and that is the original cmd line version of mame from mame.com and all so for a 64 bit front end called mame 32 plus (google it sorry). Mame 32 plus enables all the "Roms" that have been asked to be removed from the original mame. This allows me to keep games that are no longer supported on mame it self.

As in cab or frontend for cabs i use a program created by Tom Spears called Gameex (www.gameex.net). This is a skinnable and fully configurable front end for a multi arcade system. The program allows for any Command line emulators to be run but with a little looking around you can all so "Wrap" none command line emulators useing a "Wrapper" such as emulators Dolphin and the like.

Allso to add to that you can all so throw into the mix a Macro editor to run other stuff that would normally not work. I do this to move screen shot's from one screen to another before a game starts and this is how i get 2 monitors to work even though they are not supported.

If you looking for a simple Cab and designs i can help you as i have literally hundreds of can designs from old arcades and some of the modern day retro looking ones. the only ones that i build how ever are my own but using inspiration from older ones.

if you need help i can point you in the right direction for any thing emulted and help you out on setting them up. all so if you fancy building a small controller or even a large cab again ill help you out as much as i can.

First we start with karaoke .. Sun fly disks playing ->





Then we have Album Player with Mini Lyric's running on main screen and Album Player o the touch screen.





Then we have Mame running ...





And then kids testing out the system ...







I've still not finished the back box due to money limitations and having to get new hardware. I will do that later on when i can afford to buy the electronics that i need to fit. Im all so going to work up a 2 player none Touch screen CP without the keyboard just to show how you can change the system to your own needs of the system. This will be 2 x thinner than the current cp. All so i can show how it only takes 1 min to swap out the control panels.

The possibilities are endless to what i can do to this frame work.. But the question would be "Would you have one of these in your home ?"

Question, why would you put a Dreamcast in it?

Being a download hoarder, I got a spanking of these rom packs, most of which include cab files, some with multiple cabs and full length pics. (some with people in them iirc - ugh)

All the scores save ok? Used to pish me off about some emus.

erm ... well i compile my own version to get around that problem. wasn't going to saying any thing about that lol ....

Score save on some games but not all unless you compile you own version and remove nag screens.
