No go?

I had stock 350W power supply and a 7350LE graphics card.

I just went out and bought a 550W BFG power supply and a 9800GT.

I connected everything up, 24pin to motherboard 4 pin to motherboard

sata cables to drivers, 6pin to graphics card

Plug in my power cable into the back of PSU, hit the power button

and VOIL.....a?

no go.

I talked to a friend that knows a lot about computers and is a geek squad person and he told me everything that needed to be plugged in. Maybe I misunderstood him, but I'm pretty sure what I have plugged in is correct.

Somebody correct me or tell me how to fix this so I can play PLEASE

Thanks everyone!

There's a little click or scratch sound that appears for less than a second when I hit the power button the first time, if I try it again, nothing.

No LEDs blinking on and off on the motherboard? not twitch of fans any fans pluged into molexs?

If not either something isn't plugged in or something is very dead .

Can we get a pic?

Can't find a camera :\

nothing happening.

I have a 4 pin connected into my motherboard, 24 pin, and 6 pin connected to graphics card. Am I missing something?

I can explain everything very detailed if you'd like...

This one is very stupid and you'll probably slap me for this but I'm going to say it anyway:

Did you flick the power button on the back of the psu?
