I don't use a laptop often but I was at my girlfriends on the weekend and was catching up with the days postings on here when she was asleep and as I got closer and closer to finishing I got more and more uncomfortable. I was cooking and getting hotter by each post I read. It's like when ya bursting for the toilet and the closer you get to home and knowing you can finally go, the more and more you need to go until it seems you timed it just perfectly. If you stayed out a minute longer you would have had an accident.
Aaaaaaaaanyway yeah.... I think I left a bit of myself melted to her bed!!

Nah not really, just pretty bored, gonna go bed. My operating system is coming along nicely. Login system is quite hard actually, no encryption though lol.
Never tried one of those electronic book reader things, sound interesting to mod though .

My laptop lives on the bedside table or on a tray on my lap as my lappy can almost boil water when I push it.
I had an all day, all night gaming sesh last year and was finally forced to get some sleep when it auto shut down after reaching 90oC.

OOPS!
Never really had any problems with temps, I got a cooler which separates it rather than cool it, waste of £20.

I don't know if you like horror Nathan but I read anything by Dean Koontz religiously. I like early Stephen King ( Cujo, It etc), but found his later stuff....predictable. If you get the opportunity to read any Koontz stuff I can highly recommend Watchers, Twilight Eyes and Odd Thomas.
If horror isn't your thing then I'd recommend the Bourne Trilogy by Robert Ludlum or even Bryce Courtenay is quite good (Cry Freedom or The Power of One)

Diceman is a great book. If you like it, you might want to read the wasp factory. Mabey not right after as they deal with similar issues, but it's one to keep in mind.
