i need a case to fit all this?

hey all i have put a system together and now i need to find a case that will fit it all and keep it nice and cool?

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Socket 775 2.40 GHz 8MB Cache 1066MHz FSB Quad Core - GO Stepping £143.00

Coolermaster 650W Extreme Power Duo PSU - £42.99

Asus P5Q-E iP45 S 775 PCI-E 2.0 (x16) DDR2 1066/1200/800 MHz SATA II SATA RAID ATX Motherboard £93.49

XFX 512MB 9600GT PCI-E 2.0 (x16) 1800MHz GDDR3 GPU 670MHz 64 Cores 2xDL DVI-I/ HDTV Graphics Card £73.00

Corsair® 4GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 (800Mhz) TwinX (2x2G Unbuffered 5-5-5-18 £33.30

500GB Seagate ST3500320AS Barracuda 7200.11 SATA II 7200 rpm 32MB Cache 8.5 ms NCQ Hard Drive £39.99

Samsung SH-S223F 22X Dual Layer DVD±RW Black Sata Retail Box £14.99

Subtotal £440.76

VAT £66.12

Total £506.88

i reakon i have around £70 max to spend on a case also would i need any extra cooling to be able to keep it cool as the pc will be on 24/7?

i have been looking at the coolmaster 690 & the Lian Li PC-007FB Aluminium Black but i am not sure weather it will all fit in as i am not a pro with working all that out or if u have a better suggestion then please give me?

thank you

You can get an Antec900 for about £80, they are pretty good and have great air flow.

i know you are only going to £70 max, but it's well worth the extra £10

God no it aint, horrid case when you consider you cant get a Lian Li PC-8 for just over £60 (clicky).

I can vouch for this being a great little case, I managed to fit a triple radiator waterloop in mine:

Fair play, if ur in to water cooling, but as he said "i am not a pro". He's just looking for something to keep it cool 24/7 and without any hassle.

nice ill have look at it but will the Lian Li PC-007FB be ok aswell as it has got a 25cm Cooling Fan on side window + Dual 12cm fans - intakes the cool air through the front 12cm cooling fan, and expells the hot air out of the rear 12cm fan.

if i did get that would i need any extra fans or cooling things to keep it at a steady temp or would that be enough?

Yeah the Lian Li PC-007FB would be fine, however the 900 has 2 120mm intake fans, 1 120mm exhaust (rear) and 1 200mm exhaust (top). As well as that there is room for expansion with a 120mm fitting on the side window and another behind the hdd cages. In other words, 'It's the dogs boll*ks' !!!

MistaHazeX, try looking for a coolermaster aswell, some of them are pretty good.

- with more 25£ at max, you could get Cooler Master RC-932 HAF (some people dont like it looks but it has good cooling caps, also theres the Cooler Master CM-690, those two are pretty good at Air cooling, and someday if you wana try WC the haf isnt a bad case to try .

- since i never had or saw a lian li in my life, i cant tell anything, but from reviews, and even users opinions (that are alot more experienced than me), theres no doubt they have the best finishing, and quality aswell.

try looking for those two i said in stores, a good example is watercoolinguk since most probably you live in europe.

link for the two cases i told ya (still dont know if i can post a link, if not someone tell me and i edit it!)

HAF http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/cata...oducts_id=1167

CM - 690 http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/cata...roducts_id=804

but i should say again, the lian li's should be your first choice.

good luck with your build mate

Soap.

£60 is a good price for those. Only thing I don't like about them is that flash of alu that goes across the top on the inside. At that price tho, considering it's LL, I think I could live with it.
