Air cooling, gotta love it

Right well I've been on air for some time and now I'm finally getting my arse in gear and getting my project done (secret squirrel, details will follow)

But that does mean basically stripping out all the fans for use in the new project....

And that does mean I'm left with a CPU fan that sounds like it may take off at any moment

Seriously, my ears hurt

Panaflo High Speed 120mm. 125 CFM, 45.5 Dba

Ouch

Thankfully Tinytom is letting me borrow some fans until it's done, or I may go nuts

EDIT - here's what it sounds like, from a mic on my desk! Click

Doesn't sound too bad. Atleast you know it's working

Guys you need to have a delta in your life if you think it's a blender lol.

But can you get the paint off it so it's not so unbalanced.?

Delta's are pretty stupid fans, as are high/ultra high speed pana's.

The paint doesn't really unbalance it too much, it's just stupidly loud

The mobo has fan control in the BIOS but it doesn't recognise the pana. I like the fans look, tis sweet under UV

They ain't stupid. People who put them in 24/7 rigs could be debated as stupid. But for benching and testing there's nothing better.
