Looking at Dell XPS M1530, Anything Better?

I've decided to retire my MacBook for a new lappy that has a little bit of gaming power. I'll have about $1150 to $1200 to spend (before tax).

I'm looking at the Dell XPS M1530 with:

- Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4Ghz 4MB Cache

- 2GB DDR2-667MHz RAM

- 160GB HDD (All I need tbh, I've got a 120GB right now and only using 50G

- Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT 256MB

- High-Resolution 1440x900 Display

- 8x DVD+/-RW

- Intel HD Audio

- 6-Cell Primary Battery + 9-Cell Secondary

Total: $1178 (After 10% Company Discount)

Just wondering if anyone can suggest anything better/similar for a similar price (in CAD)?

Thanks

Since you are looking @ Dell, you should pop over to Alienware as they are now owned by Dell.

Good Luck with your decision
