you put your high performance, fps helping, gaming surround sound card urhm... where?

so 3 gfx cards... no decent sound :S this makes sense

Good point SuB!

The GPU heatsinks take up the PCI slot space.. so nowhere to put you other cards like network, sound or maybe TV.. Bad design.

Hi guys just found a picture of the 780i appartenly on a chinese site

But if you put 3 8800 in there if your loaded or nuts lol then you lose the pci slots and your usb and front audio connects ( is it worth it?). So unless they change the design then this will not take off i think

all i can make out from the pic is

the middle is now a 16x slot

the led is now the other way round

and it has that new hard drive upgrad chip thingy on there thats it realy

and there gona charge about 200 quide for that sor a lane you will never use unless

c and its only gona be for water cooling and you will need 2 loops that a £100 pounds just on pumps almost £200 on gpu blocks thats £300 gone already and still need rads hose coolent cpu block sb nb mosfets and guess what a massive case thats gona cost more than 100 alone this is getting stupid peps

d for the air cooling guys your stuffed peps card are dying now in sli becouse it gets to hot never mind slaping another 60 deg in middle alone

According to Fudzilla, adding a 3rd card will "supposedly" give a more positive result over using 2cards. By that I mean a 2nd card will say be 60% mroe efficient but a 3rd card will efficiently be like 80% added onto it. So you may have 100FPS, adding anotehr card gets you 60FPS more, but adding a third gets you 80FPS more, how that works tho I got no idea.

If the 8800gt or w/e the g92 is has this option, then it may be worth it in long run, as users can buy one to start with, then when they got more cash buy another, then when they got more cash buy yet another.

I've heard rumors about it for some time now, so it's probably legit. What does the company have to lose... it's probably not difficult from a hardware standpoint, the main magic would have to happen in software.

But yea, between lack of driver support and the ridiculous price, I don't see this becoming popular at all.
