Yeah, I'd go with a Samsung monitor. Samsung makes about 75% of the panels used in Dell monitors, while the other 25% are LG panels.
FYI, I've heard that ALL the 22" monitors on the market feature the same TN based Samsung panels.
Oh, and my Dad has been using the Samsung 204BW 20.1" wide screen for a few months now, and he loves it. An XFX 8800GTS is driving it.

I've heard that also.
Which would mean in reality both are Samsung TN panels.

Have you not looked at any of the Dell monitors, I own a Dell 2007WFP and love it although I know alot of people are choosing the Samsung 20" you are looking at over mine nowadays.

The way I look at it is:
If you're going for a cheap TN panel, go for a 22".
But if you want a quality panel spend the extra and get a good 20" S-IPS/P-MVA panel. (like a dell 2007wfp)
If you're really looking for quality, get a 24" so you gain in resolution and size

So if I want the 20inch size which would suit me and my needs plus my desk space the Samsung is likely to be the best ever, and if bought from play.com I have good balance for RMA'ng the item should it ghost or have any issues?
