question for kemp. does the full 360 game look better than the demo?

i just had yet another ing save game corruption at 34% this time. i'll be damned if i'm doing it all AGAIN ffs...

if the full game looks better than the demo i'm taking my pc copy back (well part ex for the 360 version) and putting up with stereo till i get an external decoder.

SuB, have you lost or changed anything to do with your internet connection at any time?

according to the codemaster forums, codemasters are aware of the problem and are working on another patch.

apparently the game requires a working connection (even though it's not listed as a prerequisite on the packaging or in the manual) otherwise you get corrupt savegames.

The 360 version looks awesome. I would say that it does look better than the demo, a few things fixed. Only worth playing in HD tho..

yea i'd be playing on my dell 2407.. so it'l be 1080 well.. the VGA highest res the 360 will do.

and as far as i'm aware my connections are fine. it just BSODS (admitedly it did it a few times) then previously when i get to about 38% the BSOD made the save game corrupt...

then it did it again at abour 34%.

thing is it didn't crash during a load or save so it seems odd

also there are profile files that i found, but there are so many and they're all identicle its hard to figure out which contains the information about how far through the game you are...

i was thinking of attempting to combine one of my current saves with a new one to get the game completed to what it was before..

but again i don't know if this will work but i guess since i'm back to square one again.. it's worth a try aint it?

edit: kemp could you possibly be kind enough to try the demo to see if the actual game looks better.. it'd sway me tbh.

after re-trying it it looked pants on my dell compared to the pc version

I wouldnt really know about the diff between the PC and Xbox version. But i cant imagine there been much difference.. Ide just buy it.. more fun on the Xbox anyway.. big tele and tht :P lol...
