Some of my friends have had issues of freezing up, speaker (for receiving calls) and buttons not working!!

You can update the firmware online via software + usb cable that comes with it anyways

Cool - so its up to date? I'm looking into debranding and unlocking services but as you live closer to civilisation than me you probably have more companies to choose from lol

The firmware currently is Vodafone but I can unlock it for you to the latest standard Sony Ericsson firmware

The playback is OK but the headphones supplied are absolutely dire. Phone is plasticy and creeks whenever you squeeze it. The only thing it's got going for it apart from the OS (which is slow as hell) is the decent camera quality

The sony ericson phones i've used have always been nice

aren't all bt contract mobiles unlocked?

I bought a bt contract one from someone and it was unlocked already.
