Losing data

I keep losing songs from my music drive.

For example.. I have all of Anthraxs Albums, I go into the fold with them in and the songs are still there but will not play and infomation is missing.

Check piccar!

What shall I do?

So when u goto the properties thing, those 2 files have no info in them and that`s why they`re not displaying in an explorer window.

I take it the info used to be there then ?

This is what im doing now.

Moving all 50GBs of stuff to another HDD and then going to scan this beast for bad sectors.

Then I made Zero the drive. Reformat and then see where I am..

If none of this works well, I will Buy a new HDD!

I Have jus had a similar problem and windoze kept crashing & Forcing CHKDSK, even After spyware & virus sweep.

After fresh install it was still doing it Thought it was HDD problem so i installed Hard Drive Inspector Couldn't spot any probs, installed Speedfan

Not much of note until i notice the voltage's were all over the place.

Okay that just scared me sooo.. I got the multimeter out..

And my 12v line is running at 12.77v and the 5v is at about 5.33.

That to me sounds okay!

Anyone disagree?
